What a GREAT week!!

It's been really an amazing week as i met up with 2 groups of friends whom i haven't been in touch with for quite some time. First it was a gathering with jill,kyna,sandy and shuqi... Although its been like only 3-4 weeks since the chalet, it feels like its been ages since we last saw each other.. perhaps we're so used to seeking one another everyday in school. Had dory fish&chips had fishermen's wharf(somewhr opp the Central), pretty affordable and tastes great! I think all of us looked rather refreshed, possibly due to the absence of stress frm studies:) Oh, you'll never guess where we went that night. Since we're in clarke quay, the heart of night activities, we decided to challenge ourselves and enter a nightclub. Of cos, there was much hesitation like worried that we cldn't afford liquer or we might make a fool of ourselves due to our inexperience. Decided to "visit" MOS, unfortunately cldnt really find it. Instead walked passed "the arena", asked the bouncer like what the rates are. To our surprise, drinks, i mean martini and vodka, are on the house for ladies. So decided to give it a try need dun have to pay entrance fee of sorts. The club was rather empty, perhaps becos the night was still young (it was ard 8 45). Then came this helpful waiter, knowing that we're probably "amateurs" to clubbing, he tried to make us feel at home. Like ask if we wld like to order vodka frm bar counter and but we asked for ice water instead. (Yes, as i said, we were new to this, so...) Of cos they served no ice water and apparently the waiters were rather tickled by our request for water. And to mark our first ever entry to a nightclub, we took a picture with the helpful waiter.. Muahahaha...

And then, there was a gathering with Teens Connect. It must have really been ages since we last met as everyone seemed so different from the last time i saw them. Oh ya, before i forget, Audrey thanks for ur genuine fake hard rock tee... lol.. wad an oxymoron! Hmm.. played "taboo" at jul's place, and i mus say it really amusing. For some who may not know, "taboo" is a bit like the pyramid game where u're suppose to let team members guess the word u're describing w/o using forbidden words. So there was this word "magazine" that we're supposed to guess, the describer(or wadever u call it) said," FHM is a ..." and from the corner of the room someone said, "Monster"...(hope u got the joke). Played "empire" too, i think this is one of the best played ever... Each game cld stretch for abt 30mins or so, an we all had good fun guessing the characters of one another.. Having my bro in the game was quite an advantage too since i know so much abt him.. Muahahaha! We stayed up all the way to 2am, was contemplating whether to stay for the night or return home since we're quite near home aft all. After much consideration, decided to return home anyway at 2am. Here comes shock of the day, oops, i mean night. Took a cab from Elias Rd back to my home which is jus at another corner of pasir ris, and guess wad, it costs $6.50. That's like a plate of fish&chips from Fisherman's Wharf... That's obviously cut throat pricing! No wonder there are many vacant taxis on the road these days. Hmm.. econs time, price set above equilibrium price, excess results as ss more than dd. ok fine, away frm books. Alright, i guess thats all for now.. tata..
