First Post of 2008

I spent my last hours of 2007 at Clarke Quay. Sat on the steps jus outside the Central and watched the vertical bungee jumps. Surprisingly there weren't many ppl at Clarke Quay, probably most of the crowds are at marina bay area. Nevertheless, i was pretty comfortable sitting at a rather breezy location, without stiffling crowds. Seconds to midnight, i felt this nudging urge to answer natures' call. Like of all times, why now la... so mom and i rushed to the nearest toilet. To our horror, Central was closed so couldnt gain access to the nearest toilet, had to make a dash to mrt toilet 20-30 steps down. It was really a mad rush against time, cause we did nt want to miss the countdown and fireworks. After inching and squeezing our way through the crowd, we finally returned back to our spot, jus in time for countdown. Well, to be honest there werent any countdown, our only indication that Mr New Year has arrived was the bursting of fireworks in the sky. The fireworks were just spectecular, although frm where we stood the view was a bit blocked, the loud boom of the fireworks created a outburst of excitement. Everyone was like rushing in the direction of the fireworks to catch a better view of it. I felt a bit disappointed as to not being able to catch a full view of the firework, should have known better that the view will be blocked by skyscrapers. Haizz.. better luck next time. Good for my bro who met up with his sec sch frens and specially waited at esplanade there.

Anyway, new yr mus make resolutions right? My resolution this yr is to learn how to play guitar... i do not know how long this is going to take but i pray to God that He will give me the grace to play good music that will touch the hearts of people.
