I'm beginning to it here maybe becos im learning every bit i can from the time i spent here. And that includes going to the printing room and peaking into the contents that other users printed. There was once i stumbled upon this whole lot of information about building materials and their properties... A kaypoh me, was joyfully reading it (although i probably couldnt understand 70% of the content) until someone steps into the room. I'm very thankful for the fact that there is a female IA student here who is taking mech engine in NTU. At least i get to hear the real stuff about what to expect being the horribly outnumbered gender in the course. Unfortunately, it didnt sound very optimistic, and im beginning to feel scared. Moving on to my job, dealing with contractors or maintenance agents is seriously not an easy task. Somehow i realised this need to be more alert and to trust myself rather than their words as they might be slip-shod in their work. Anyway, one of my closest colleagues left this week, and i'm left on my own now.. sigh.. i hate goodbyes, but its part and parcel of life. It reminded me of how abrupt things ended in school, but this time, im determined not to mull over it. Life goes on,
