Today, is the long awaited fearful day....Yes, its the day of nus mech engine interview. Woke up pretty early today, abt 7am, needn't go to work as my understanding manager decided to give me a paid-off day. Whew~ Flipped thru the papers, hoping to update myself with a bit of current affairs lest they asked related questions. But after awhile, i got rather fidgety and couldnt concentrate on reading the papers, decided to switch on the computer and browse thru the nus website once again.. As i was browsing, i came across some cool information on nano-technology which sparked my interest like ALOT! It sort of gave me a bit of inspiration about what to say at the interview/. And when the time was up, went to wash up, dressed in newly bought top and black pants. I looked into the mirror, for a moment, i thought the person standing before me is a property agent. To enhance that outlook even more, i carried a black handheld file/bag. With that grabbed my stuff, wore a black leather court shoe and im all set to go... If you have noticed by now, im basically all black except for white collar. And with that, Joan is ready to seal a deal with the prof at nus.

Had lunch with 2 friends, and after that headed to the engine block. My friend saw me right up to the lift lobby where i took the lift up on my own to the 7th storey. As i walked out from the lift, i was greeted with prof offices and a quiet corridor. Paced around the corridor trying desperately to find the dept office but couldnt. In the end, i decided to ask some admin staff for directions, thankfully, they were very helpful and gave me clear directions. But as i tried to venture out according to their description, i found myself going in circles and none of the door unit nos. were like close to that of the dept office. Miraculously, the same group of people whom i asked for directions appeared before me again and pointed me to the corner to where i was suppose to turn. Lo and Behold, i finally saw that transparent glassdoor gleaming before my eyes. Gosh, its seems so unforgivable for an someone who wants to take engine courses to be lost in the building.

Anyway, the interview was a short 7min if my mental clock is accurate. I thought i might be bombarded and drilled with questions but it turned out to be questions targetted at the stuff i wrote in the essay. The 2 prof who were interviewing me did not make much remarks to my answers, one wrote notes and the other was flipping through my resume. They jus kept on asking questions and before i knew it, one prof went,"thank you for your time" stood up and opened the door for me. After i left the room, i just felt really puzzled. I cant really judge base on the interviewer's expressions whether did i make it thru the interview. Neither did they tell me when i would receive results. I am jus left there, with all that unanswered questions filling my mind.

Anyway, I really want to thank all who were there for me, audrey thanks for ur mock interview, don and josie, thanks for being there at nus otherwise i'll probably be feeling lost and scared. And not forgetting others who have been praying for me. Last but not least, i thank God who was with me all this time.
